Memiliki personil yang juga anggota band electro dan jazz tidak membuat Fady Alkatiri (vokalis March dan Electron 45) dan Arya Ramadhya/ Lale (gitaris March dan Maliq & D’Essentials) berhenti berharap memiliki sebuah rilisan metal yang berkualitas. Bersama dua teman mereka; yaitu Erixon Sihite (bubanj) dan Rachadian Ramadhan (Gitara), kecintaan mereka terhadap musik metal tersalurkan melalui March dan terdokumentasikan melalui album perdana mereka; Polymath.
Butuh waktu hampir tiga tahun untuk menyelesaikan album ini. Tentunya dalam kurun waktu tersebut telah banyak faktor yang berubah; baik dalam hal ekonomi, teknologi, maupun perkembanganscenemusik di Indonesia. Faktor-faktor tersebut pada gilirannya berpengaruh pada hasil rekaman dan strategi promosi; yang semuanya dijalankan secara mandiri oleh personil March sejak awal berdirinya band ini di tahun 2005.
“Saya yakin album ini akan menjadi sebuah gebrakan terhadap industri rock tanah air. Bukan ingin berkata tanpa alasan, tetapi March bersamaan dengan Yayat Achdiat (Burgerkill) selaku produser telah mendorong diri ke titik maksimal dan (setidaknya menurut kami) berhasil menghasilkan salah satu album rock tanah air yang pantas”, ujar Erix (drummer).
Sama seperti keyakinan Lale (gitaris), Ryan (gitaris) yang seorang sarjana kedokteran merasakan album ini seperti menginjeksijkan 20 mg epinephrine sebagai stimulan adrenalin; baik anda adalah pendengar musik pop, jazz, bahkandancesekalipun akan menemukan cara untuk menikmati karya dari March. 11 lagu pada Album Polymath diharapkan dapat menjadianthemdi berbagai panggung musik dan dapat menjadi penyemarakmosh pitseperti yang selama ini telah dilakukan oleh March.

MARCH profile:
March is a Jakarta-based backbiting band. Kick started their calling with the 2005 demo track; “Rise of The Imperfect”, these metal heads kept making things happen. With their fully abrasive and guitar-driven songs such as the crowd burner piece “Batas Nalar” and “Teori Konspirasi”, March has grown and shared stages with international and local forefront acts.
A gig in mid 2006 has been the best foundation to further bring March into poised path. There, the band played their esteemed songs and made remarks on few notorious names in the scene. “Awesome materials” and “heavy” are the roughly remembered compliments of that one hell of a night.
Within several years of comradeship, March has been through transitions of formation and adversities. Thanks to ones who believe in such music, the ensemble is still striving for their very own actualization of ambition and still featured on cycle of local gigs, festival, and parties.
After the comeback of Ryan; the guitarist, from study in Australia, the hunger of Lale; also guitarist, in playing metal again, the boys are more than alive and ready to march with other members; Erix on drums and Faddy on vocal. The band is now paving the way to reveal their materials; not by a usual release, but a radical one. The first single from “POLYMATH” album “TEORI KONSPIRASI” has been out everywhere, the video clip also has been put through the page. So far on the process, March has pushed everything to its limit and set to march on!

Mi zaista svidio zvuk vokalnog Ripple Legrand malo podsjeća na Hope Sandoval i Edith Piaf. Nekad je bio planiran kao singl s novog albuma navučen malo izobličenja iz analognog zvuka njihove uobičajene minimalističke igru. Za ljubitelje indie rock / pop san, odmah na sljedeću praćenje!

Tijekom ovog svibanj biti u marginaliziran karta Aceh nezavisne glazbe / podzemna, na otoku Sumatra toliko koncentrirana u Medan. Pa kad je dao prijatelju ovaj album, Malo se znatiželja ugruška. "Burger igrali dia Kill novi Aceh,"Kaže prijatelja. Znatiželja više nije pijan, ali već za montažu. Ako slušati bend koji berpersonilkan Catzho (vokalni), Greška (vokalni), Rudi (Gitara), Danijel (Gitara), Gospođa (bas), Roy (bubanj), Aulia (perkusija), onda Surya G'bhel (uzorkovanja) Ovaj moderni metal glazbe s dozom jedinstvene etničke Rencong Land. Neke pjesme koristiti svoj maternji jezik što je pjesma "Damee MEU" i "Ampoen", korištenje tradicionalnih alata tradicionalnih Ačeh serunekale. Ako u Bandung, bendovi kao što bi to moglo biti zabodena na tijelo koje kombinira orkestra i glazbeni hardcore. Korištenje Ačeh jezika i nijanse glazbe serunekale crvi napraviti malo smrdljiva etničkih, ali to može biti osjetljiv kroz prilično čvrste paket. Lyrics, otpor je uvijek pitanje pravde da ljudi Aceh žele ih primiti od države. Takva glazba može se više govoriti od separatizma. Dokle god oni imati neki važan ključ: dosljednost u stavu da je njihov otpor nosilima!
